Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, developed in collaboration with neuroscientists and people with psychosis, will allow you to immerse yourself in the thoughts of the main character of the Senouans. Follow the broken and tortured girl deep into the Scandinavian lower world in search of the lost soul of her deceased lover.

During a personal and emotional journey to the exactly recreated world of the Viking mythology in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, you will face not only external obstacles, but also those that are torn apart from inside by conflicts, As well as with the loss and long-term consequences of the trauma experienced.

When creating Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, the authors relied on the experience of neurobiologists and people suffering from mental disorders. You will find yourself immersed in the melancholy rage and the frustrated consciousness of the warrior Senui.
An important part of the game is the heroine's insanity: Senua perceives the world around her through the prism of her psychosis. To more accurately convey the state of Senua, the developers attracted as a consultant Professor of Cambridge University Paul Fletcher; Archival materials on psychiatry of the 1960s, containing personal experience of people with early stages of psychosis, were used for study. Fletcher's ideas were used to bring disturbing and frightening details into play. The task of the developers was to create an atmosphere of anxiety, when the player - like Senua herself - would see in the most innocent images a foreknowledge of something frightening.
