Sabah uyanır uyanmaz gidip Profesörden kendi pokemonunu seçebilecektir. Ancak erken uyanamadığı için sorunlu bir pokemon olan pikachu'u almak zorunda kalır. Pikachu ile hemen yollara koyularak ilk pokemonunu yakalamak ister. Uzun bir macera onu beklemektedir.
